Zen Punk is also my musical and lyrical style - Yin & Yang - ranging from trance-like solo guitar to high-energy full band mixes.
Welcome to zenpunksongs.com, my online retreat. It's filled with music, poetry, photos, videos and other stuff that mixes reflection and rebellion with a few laughs. Use this as a digital sanctuary - the Laws of Yin & Yang are the only authority recognized here.
If sometimes you just wanna crank the music a little louder to make everything go away or at other times you wish you could escape to a remote, quiet place for a few seconds of silence, then there’s something for you here.
What inspires me...imagine John Lee Hooker, Ali Farke Touré and Lou Reed sittin' around a bonfire at the beach under the stars jammin' with Bob Marley, L.K.J. and The Clash; Henry David Thoreau and Lao Tzu play hacky sack with Master Oogway in the firelight...I hope you'll find a chunk of freedom or a breath of peace while sifting through my collection. Take what you like and enjoy it whenever it feels right.
Site Philosophy
I have a lot of ideas. The vast majority of them still exist solely in the realm of thought. Some, however, that I feel are treasured gifts, have made it to the world of form as poetry, music and song. I wish to share these with you here.
Everything on this site is here because it does at least one of these things:
